Hibernate allows you to completely power off your pc like shutdown and still saves your current work to disk so that next time when you open it you can continue with it.It takes less time for the PC to start up/ switch off too. Go to control panel>power options>Hibernate and enable it.
Better make a shortcut with this as the target
